Dialogue in the Dark
09 Nov 2009 (mon)
Dialogue in the Dark was very fun and interesting! a very good learning, sensing, and feeling experience! So it's a tour in the dark (i assure you, in total darkness) for 1 hour plus :) You will really get the feel of how's living in darkness (black) when apparently you know it's well-lit or sunny outside.
and there was our guide who is a partial visually impaired person. All the guides there are either partial or full visually impaired. and the guide i had, is a friendly and amazing person. The guides earn a living through these tours. it's their job and responsibility to bring us around. Yar, we get to learn more and appreciate. like if you say "it's over there" they will ask "where's there". They depend alot on sounds and voices. My guide keeps saying "come to my voice" :)
well, i like Dialogue in the Dark for firstly, it allows the visually impaired person to get employed, earn for themselves and get independent. secondly, it also allows we public to learn and get the other perspective right, the visually impaired's perspective :)
ok, cause the Dialogue in the Dark is newly opened in our school, on Ngee Ann Polytechnic campus, there's a promotion. 50% off till 2010 (hearsay). Adult $20, student (9 yrs above) $12 and family combo (2 adults 2 children) $60. Because i love my whole experience in the dark, i strongly recommend people to go for Dialogue in the Dark :)
so i was telling a friend, if you want, we can go tgt :) i dont mind going again!
love it :)

Past tense
Gabrielle (call her "beauty", she'll love it!) found these photos which was taken during Youth Expedition Project Sep'08 in South China. It's amazing to see the kid-iness in us. Only us were happily playing with ourselves, self-entertainment, :)
If you noticed, she's a dancer :)
I can still remember the fun we had. Let's work towards our aim, our aim to visit again :) p.s. end up, these are the top 4, more than just top 1
Went to Bukit Batok Driving Centre today to register myself for the Basic Theory Test. I'm grateful to my brother and I'm glad (and told my parents) that I have an older brother who, because he's older, knows alot more than me, who I can seek help (e.g. how much do i need to pay for the registration) and so on...
but a moment i was thankful, a moment, i was unsure. just 脚踏实地, cant you? dont make everyone worry.
Tell me a way to capture nice smell so tt i can share it with others ..

Today,
We had Pledge of Slience (a campaign which give emotional support for people with HIV/AIDS) today in campus for 8 hours. Well, I always thought I don't really have much things to say in school and so i assume it would be easy. But it wasn't, it's not easy
The pledge card. Anyone wants to help by donating some money, pls sms, msn, call or through whatever means to inform me :) Then we'll see how.
It was raining heavily at 7pm; Jean reached around 720pm. Thanks Jean for lending me the textbooks :)
Well, I guess it's when you experience something negative then you will realise something positive around.
My laptop which is standing vertically leaning against me slipped off the busstop seat and drop on the dirty wet floor. His very first attempt to commit suicide, and he succeeded (sigh).
Second Thanks: thanks bus uncle for stopping the bus for me. cause I stood up late and he gotta stop the bus after overshooting the busstop
Ytd I was thinking whether i've forgotten the "Pay It Forward". I can't vividly remember anything i've did to pay forward..
Third Thanks: thanks the kind auntie for giving me the packet of tissue. well, I was worried tt my laptop will spoil and argh! i dont have any tissue with me at tt moment. so i asked the auntie sitting behind me. i pointed at my wet and dirty laptop bag. she gave me a pkt and i'm afraid tt i use too much. when I return her, she said it's ok, i can have it :) Well, i really need it, just paiseh to finish her tissue
Well, today, once again, i experienced and felt... I'll forward :)
On the bus, a small kid (aged around 5-6) with a very adorable voice exclaimed "爸爸推我!" His mum replied "爸爸怕你跌倒,车(bus)要走了,怕你没有坐好跌倒" "爸爸可以抓我的手!" "你走很快,爸爸抓不到" "爸爸推我!" "你怎么这么多complaint?! 哈哈哈哈!" the conversation is something like this.. :)
Well, 天下父母心. They care for you, but in another way. maybe in ways that you dislike, but this is the way it is.
